What is home staging?

Doesn't an empty house look bigger when the rooms are empty?

Actually no. Empty rooms tend to be perceived as smaller than they really are. Empty spaces leave potential buyers cold and disinterested. Staging helps them envision their own life and belongings there.

In a buoyant market my house will sell whatever it’s condition won’t it?

It may well but are you happy to settle for less than your property’s full value? A home presented badly will not realise its full potential even if you receive the asking price agreed with your agent. Staged and styled homes can sell for up to 10% more than their unstaged valuation.

How much does home staging cost?

What if my estate agent doesn't recommend staging?

It depends on your priorities, if you want to sell for more money and faster then a staged home will always get more attention, more views, more offers than an un-staged one. Some agents want the easiest life for themselves rather than the best service for you!

How do I choose a home stager?

Well, you found us! If you’re still not sure, things to consider when researching stagers include their past results, past projects; industry qualifications, training, affiliation with trade associations (such as the HSA), experience, how long they have been operating and recent reviews.

    In addition to staging all rooms we also offer a part staging service which includes just the key rooms in a property - typically the kitchen, living room, main bedroom and family bathroom. This option can provide the essential images for a minimal outlay.
